Also known as a zoom lift, MyEllevate is a nonsurgical neck contouring procedure to tighten and lift the skin in the neck area. MyEllevate™ uses the ICLED™ light guided suture suspension system to accurately place permanent sutures beneath the skin’s surface. Small, strategically placed punctures are made below the jawline. The surgeon uses of a fiberoptic lighted rod (working like a lighted needle and thread) to bring the muscles together. These sutures create a support sling within the underlying skin, platysma muscles, fat, and neck glands without surgically opening the area. This placement lifts your neck and jaw in a firmer, sculpted contour and provides the missing structure that has been weakened and lost with age.

A good candidate for this procedure is someone who wants to address mild to moderate skin laxity and the early signs of aging of the lower face and neck region (what some refer to as “turkey neck”) but does not want a surgical facelift. This procedure will help redefine your jawline and reduce the appearance of a double chin. You may not get a good result from MyEllevate if you have a significant amount of excess skin to address.
Side effects and post-procedure care are minimal after this facial rejuvenation procedure since there are no stitches or incisions. Swelling and bruising are the most common side effects, and a gentle headband will need to be worn for a few days. We recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for two weeks after your procedure since those activities can cause swelling.

MyEllevate is a minimally invasive procedure, translating to minimal recovery and downtime. Most Philadelphia area patients will experience rapid healing and minor bruising and swelling due to minimal tissue trauma. Many patients return to work after a few days since there is little indication that they underwent a cosmetic procedure. You may feel a slight tight sensation in the area where the thread was placed for 2-3 weeks. We recommend that you avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for two weeks after your procedure since those activities can cause swelling. We’ll provide detailed post-operative instructions at your consultation.
